Being Yourself

Here is a topic nearly everyone can relate to, 'being different' which in this generation is now a crime. The moment you start doing something new it could either turn into a trend or turn into a reason to attract hate or abuse.

We'll take 'looks' as the  example, if you choose to do something different like maybe get some kind of surgery? or maybe do something different to your hair, you maybe gain a bit of weight or you loose to much weight, whatever it is, you'll end up getting abuse for it, but why? why cant those people feel free to be who they want to be? to be able to be yourself without being judged by silly judgmental people who clearly do not have the guts to do something different to actually be there self because they are frightened of what other people are going to think, That's what it comes down to 'Fear', fear of being judged for being themselves,  which anyone who has been in that situation (me included) can tell you that its worth the risk and its so much better being yourself rather than hiding behind some pretend shadow of something that your not, of course it took me ages to come to terms with who i actually am and how i could express who i really am, i knew the consequences of being myself but if it meant freedom so id do anything it takes, which i did and you need to aswell, why would you want to be someone else when technically you dont even know who you really are yet or what you're even capable of?, ask yourself that.

Now expanding on the whole 'looks' example we'll move to peoples tastes in clothes, now, me included ive had alot of hate for what i choose to wear, i consider myself a quite fashionable person and in MY eyes what i wear looks good, i dont care what other people think and why should i?, as long as im cosy and comfortable in what im wearing or what your wearing, that's what counts. which also leads me to expand on the whole 'boys cant wear makeup' now, im sorry but where in any rule book does it say that makeup is only for girls? hm?, yes exactly there isnt a rule, plenty of your favurite athletes or actors will wear some sort of makeup to interviews and social events so before you go judging or shouting abuse to a guy wearing makeup across the street then just think, your favurite athlete or whatever wears it which makes you not only rude, disrespectful and alot of other things, it makes you a hypocrite. We all have our different tastes in clothes, music, accessories, games or really anything! but as long as your comfortable and confident in what your wearing or doing and most importantly enjoying, then its all good, dont listen to the jealous people who just want what you have.

So in conclusion, never judge someone for who they are and what they choose to do, you dont have the right to do that your not high and mighty, your just another extraordinary  human being, like we all are, were all made up of blood and bones. Help yourself and others by just being yourself and doing what you enjoy to do freely without fear of being judged because you only get one chance, dont blow it.

My Story Part 3: Forgiving&Forgetting

We are now on part 3 of My Story, its been a really emotional journey writing about my past but its something that had to be done, to give other people in my situation or similar the reassurance that everything will be okay. That one day you'll be glowing with confidence and happiness like i am now, and with that you will have the power to help other people who was in mine and your situations or again similar.

The biggest part of moving on and forgetting is forgiving, yes, i know what you're thinking it seems mind blowing to think that they deserve your forgiveness, but your right, they dont deserve it, but if you dont forgive you will never forget and even though they done you wrong for years, months, days, that doesn't matter because you deserve to be happy and to move on!. Dont waste your life dwelling on the past and holding grudges because at the end of the day its you mourning over it, not them.

Dont let them be a constant reminder of your unhappiness, to be quite honest you wouldn't be the strong, independent and beautiful person you are today if it wasn't for them, that's a more positive way of thinking about it, it doesn't matter the situation, you have the power to turn any negative and heartbreaking situation to a positive one, there is always an up side to the down side, all you need to do is look for it. If you just confront the problem, if you think about it, write it down and rip it up do whatever it takes for you to forgive, it will be so hard and it will be a massive milestone in your life and if you manage to forgive&forget then that just shows your a better and stronger person than they will ever be. Bearing in mind that you cant just wake up one morning and decide to forgive, it takes time and alot of thinking because sometimes people may think they have forgiven but secretly they still have so much anger and emotion in them which can lead to so many more permanent problems and even disorders, such as, Depression, Anxiety and alot more serious mental illnesses that may be difficult to fix, but as i said in a previous blog, nothing is impossible, there will nearly always be away around or over something, you just need to find the problem that sparked of such unhappy and negative thoughts and emotions, then deal with them one by one.

So break-free out of your shell you've been hiding in for so long because you deserve to shine bright and show everyone who you really are, forgive, forget and move on because as i said, you deserve that. Always be yourself and stay strong, because i have, and i couldn't be anymore happier than i am right now.

My Story Part 2: Getting bullied&Staying POSITIVE!

This post is all about how i stayed positive through getting bullied and through the toughest times in my life and how YOU CAN too!. Its alot harder than anyone would think, sometimes you just cannot take your mind off what happened that day or what 'might' happen the next, but theirs one thing i can say, that its NOT impossible!.

Its so easy for someone to say 'stay positive or stay strong, etc' but to actually do it, it seems impossible at that very moment, its hard to keep any positive thoughts in your head when everyone around you are being so negative towards you, you need to rise above the comments, you need to be that strong person that they dont think you are because i promise you, the minute they realize you're stronger and winning, they will back away with confusion. You can do it if you believe in yourself and what your fighting for which for me was, my freedom to be who i was freely and not worry about what people thought and of course my confidence and self esteem back, which they took. I got mines back because i risked everything i had left to get it back, i didn't think of the consequences, i set in my mind what i wanted back and i got it, no hesitations and definitely no over-thinking because that can tear you apart. Please bear in mind this takes alot of time and effort so if after a week you see no results, keep going! never ever give up.

Some of the things that helped me to stay positive is music, music is a perfect way to get your mind off things and take you to a more happier and comfortable place within yourself, exercise is another amazing technique to take your mind off things and to help channel anger and other emotions into that one particular thing, yoga or gymnastics or any other peaceful relaxing classes you could think of to go to is a good way, even sometimes speaking to a Councillor would help to get everything out in the open so you dont have to deal with it all by yourself. One thing never ever to do is pretend nothing is happening, dont run from the problems, you need to face them or there going to be there longer than they need to be. Anything that personally makes You happy whatever it may be is the perfect distraction.

The conclusion to this blog is to stay positive and about everything ive given you to stay positive is all based around independence, so if you dont like to bother people with your problems or really speak to anyone then some of the tips and techniques ive given you today is the perfect way for you. Face your problems head on, get what got stolen from you because at the end of the day its yours!. Think of it as a test and your going to pass this test because your life&happiness depends on it, make yourself proud and be an example to the people looking up to you. You can do it!<3

My Story: Getting Bullied&The Outcome

As the title states im going to be telling you about a huge part in/of my life, bullying, i shall shorten it so you dont have to read like, a 100 book story. I was bullied from a young age, about 7/8 years old, when it all started people in my classes called me 'gay' a huge word in my life but at that age i never understood or knew what it meant, why would you call an 8 year old gay? or any other name?. Now of course i didn't see it as bullying, then, but as i gradually grew older i started to understand more and more. The bullying continued throughout school. It was getting worse and worse, i told teachers, they didn't do anything, i told my parents, they told me to ignore them, why wasn't anyone helping me? i had no friends or really anybody to speak to about my problems(i was 8 and had problems to talk about? sounds so silly because that shouldn't have to happen!, 8 year olds shouldn't have to be put through this, nobody should!!). i got to the last couple of years in primary school and i made a little group of friends who i dont speak to anymore, but things were still the same.

High school came along and it was time to leave all the bully's behind, well, that's what i thought. Except there was tripple the bully's at high school. Much older and bigger than me and even the same ages as me. It started all over again, i never fitted in at all, never had friends, the bullying only got worse i got called every name you can think of, i got pushed in the corridor, but i stayed strong i told everyone i was fine, i told my mum and dad when i got home i had a good day, i swept all my emotion and problems under the carpet and forgot about them until i went to sleep at night, playing in my head how tomorrow will go, how everything might be fine and they might just leave me alone, they didn't.

As i got older i wanted to express myself  bit more, so i started to wear makeup (because as you know i love makeup and fashion etc), because as you know it says no wear in a rule book or law that boys cant wear it aswell, its not just for girls, so you could probably imagine the outcome of that, but as i said, i stayed strong and i never, let anyone faze me, i kept my head up when it was nearly impossible to, but as i got stronger, but so did the bully's. It got to about 3rd year and i had loads of friends, but of course i was still bullied, my confidence was down at 0, my self esteem was at 0 everything about me was just at a 0, my life officially became hell on earth, everything except my hope which was at 100. By 4th year i had an amazing group of friends and an amazing bestfriend who to this day i love and adore and still see!, i honestly wouldn't be the person i am now if it wasn't for her!, barely anyone bullied me at all!! they finally gave up and realised that i was stronger than them, of course people still call me names and sniggers (giggles) at me now, but i will never let that bother me again, i see countless tweets about me, statuses about me, people giving me weird looks, but the difference to now and then is that my confidence is at 100, my self esteem is at 100 and my life could not get better! where are the bully's now? well their probably tweeting about and bullying other people. and i really hope the victims of bullying sees this because im not going to sugar coat this, your life will be hell BUT, only if you make it that way! dont let them bring you down, tell someone. If that doesn't work there are plenty other ways, but that will be in a future blog post.

Now in conclusion, you've heard about my story and trust me its alot worse than what ive just said, that was only the tip of a huge iceberg. Some of you can probably relate and if your going through this, right as you're reading this then stay strong dont let them ruin your life, like they ruined mine, You're worth so much more and if you can get through it, you can get through anything! and to the bully's who probably will read this aswell, please stop bullying!!, we dont deserve it. Were only trying to be ourselves, why bully us for that? why dont you join us? be yourself? because there isn't anything better than being yourself and being comfortable within yourself!, none of you are alone:)

Stay Strong&Positive!<3

Being A Gay Teenager In 2013/2014

Being gay at any time and age is hard. Not because we have done anything wrong but because society has shaped us into a different species of human, which we aren't were all the same and to see someone being bullied or abused because they are gay/lesbian or even transgender, its completely wrong and disgusting! we are all the same! its really not a choice. We are who we are. You literally are destroying someones self esteem and basically life, why? because you're scared? because you dont understand us? No. there is absoloutly no excuse! there is no such thing, and 'Homophobic' in my opinion, that is beyond stupid, how could you be scared of another human being for liking the same sex? it completely blows my mind. I'm struggling to even write this because this shouldn't have to be written!! this is 2014! and people still cant accept that there is such a thing called 'different'

So when your about to hit or call that guy/girl another horrible name, just wait just have a tiny think and remember that hes just like you/Shes just like you!, She/He has  heart, lungs, brain, eyes, nose and most importantly we have feelings and so do you! so i dont see the difference? what? because we happen to like another boy? or another girl? sit and have a little think how is that wrong?. The only answer to that question is 'there isn't anything wrong with that! so please, stick up for whats right!.

Now a days its so hard to be yourself! infact i dont know one person that can be there self and not get judged! looks, clothes, if you have a spot, if you decided to wear a jacket that was in fashion last summer which leads me back to being gay how can anyone be there self's and how can you expect someone to be their self if your just going to judge them? especially with all this technology these days, all this social media is just making it easier to target young gay people and not get caught. Now as we finish up this some what feels like a story now. Please be yourself if not yourself who are you going to be? your friends next door neighbors cat? your best friends grandma? No of course your not! be yourself and always have a smile on your face! stay positive and i know its easier said than done but ignore name calling and bully's! but always remember to report them. Dont even let them get away with hurting you! Ever!!.

Stay Strong! because if you can pull through this, you can pull through anything:).
